These cabinets have been specially designed to facilitate the use of twin protection
overvoltage arresters (primary and secondary).
They are made up of :

• a primary protection stage using DGA 70 kA overvoltage arresters ;

• a secondary protection stage using DGX 10 kA overvoltage arresters ;

• an inductive co-ordination resistor designed to uncouple the two protection stages ;

• an overvoltage arrester protection breaker.

The pre-wired sub-assembly is set in a lockable metal cabinet.
An LED display on the cabinet door shows the voltage and operational status of each
overvoltage arrester.
