Routine verification of all installations must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the standards in force.
Our teams of Control & Maintenance technicians travel the country honoring our contracts with our customers.
Customers are given a control certificate and, if necessary, an assessment of any upgrades to the installation that may be required.

- The air terminal should be fixed at the top of an elevation pole at least 2 meters above the structure to be protected.
- The elevation pole should be securely fixed.
- The use of guy wires might be necessary in some cases.
- Copper conductor with a minimal cross-section area of 50 mm2.
- Fixed by 3 fasteners per meter.
- The use of 2 down conductors is necessary for the following situations :
Height of the building > 28 meters
or
Horizontal length of the down conductor > Vertical length of the down conductor
- The down conductor route must be as straight as possible with no sharp angle.
- A test clamp should be installed 2 meters above ground level so that the down conductor may be disconnected from the earth termination system for regular checks of the earth termination resistance value.
- Holes in the down-conductor are not allowed.
- Stainless steel protection sheath (2 meters) for mechanical protection for the down conductor.
- The resistance value of the earthing should be 10 Ohms or less.
- Crow foot or triangle earthing system with 2 meters copper rods.
- The connection between the down conductor & the electrical earthing system should be made.
- Equipotential bonding between metallic structures & down conductor.
- Any metallic object located less than 1 meter from the down conductor should be bonded to the down conductor.
